This specimen was lot 74584 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "EGYPT. 5 Pounds, AH 1415/1994. Cairo Mint. PCGS PROOF-69 Deep Cameo. King Pepi I." This NCLT was struck 1993-94 and the mintage given below is probably the combined total. This NCLT is among dozens issued by the regime in 1993-94 to honor ancient Egyptian culture. Many of the designs were also used on gold fifty pounds.
