This specimen was lot 71726 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $100. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Great Britain|GREAT BRITAIN]]. 1/3 Farthing, 1902. London Mint. NGC MS-63 Red Brown. Mostly red with some speckled tone on the obverse." This type was struck 1902 only and circulated mostly in the colonies. Its face value, 1/2880 of a pound, was too low to be useful in Britain proper. One more issue, in 1913, completed the series.
