This specimen was lot 4855 in Goldberg sale 69 (Los Angeles, May, 2012), where it sold for $517.50. The catalog description [2] noted, "Great Britain. Crown, 1902. Edward VII. Head right. Reverse: St. George slaying dragon. NGC graded Matte Proof 62. The Judy Cahn Collection." This is the only crown for Edward VII. Fortunately it is not rare.
Recorded mintage: 256,000 plus 15,000 matte proofs.
Specification: 28.27 g, 0.925 fine silver.
