SB1122-74754r.jpg

This specimen was lot 74754 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. 3 Mark, 1914-A. This issue accompanied a similar five mark (KM 536) and twenty mark (KM 537).

Recorded mintage: 2,022,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 16.66 g, 0.900 fine silver, 33 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM-538, Dav-485.
