Bavaria 1914-D 3 mark
This specimen was lot 4264 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €360 (about US$485 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, BAYERN, Ludwig III. 1913-1918. 3 Mark 1914. In US-Plastikholder der PCGS mit der Bewertung PR 65 CAMEO. Prachtexemplar. Polierte Platte. (unified silver coinage, kingdom of Bavaria, Louis III, 1913-18, three mark of 1914, in PCGS PR 65 CAMEO holder. Proof.)"

Recorded mintage: 717,000 + proofs.
Specification: 16.67 g, 0.900 fine silver, 33 mm diameter.
