The specimen shown was lot 651 in Cayon Subastas sale in Madrid, on February 4, 2012, where it sold for 2,700 € (about US$4,193 including buyer's fees). The catalog description [1] noted,

"Segovia, Ingenio. 8 reales. 1729. F. Hojita en el escudo. Casi EBC+, restos de brillo original. Suave tono. (Segovia 8 reales, 1729-F. Leaf on the shield. Almost about uncirculated, remains of original luster, soft toning.)"

This type was issued at Segovia 1727-1729. All the early eight reales of Spain are rare and expensive.
