Mexico 1836-Do RM/RL escudo

The specimen shown is one of a series struck 1832-64 at Durango. Long^[1] notes this date as the commonest for the mint. All known specimens have the RM/RL overassayer and feature the "French" style eagle unique to the Durango mint. The early thirties represented a busy time for the Durango mint as it struck everything from reales to eight escudos.
