This specimen was lot 3686 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 350 CHF (about US$461 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Zurich | Stadt und Kanton. Vierteldukat 1767, Zürich. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Leicht gewellt. (Switzerland, canton of Zurich, quarter ducat of 1767, Zurich mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Slightly wavy flan.)"
This type was struck 1718-61, 1767. Despite the many years of issue, it is still expensive. In 1798, the canton of Zürich was forcibly incorporated into the Helvetic Republic.
