This specimen was lot 3453 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$544 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zürich, Stadt und Kanton, Vierteldukat 1727, Zürich. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, city and canton of Zürich, quarter ducat of 1727, Zürich mint. Very Fine-Extremely Fine.)"
This quarter ducat was struck 1718-36, 1739-48, 1751-53, 1756-61 and 1767. It is the most common issue of this denomination from Zürich.
