Sincona sale 102, lot 5660

This specimen was lot 5660 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$678 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Zürich. Stadt und Kanton. Taler 1727, Zürich. Selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, thaler of 1727, Zürich mint. Rare, Very Fine-Extremely Fine.)"

This type was struck 1724-27, 1730-34 and is rather scarce. A city view was also struck in 1727.

Specification: 28 g, silver, this specimen 28.06 g.
