This specimen was lot 3080 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 450 CHF (about US$540 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND, Stadt und Kanton Zürich, Vierteldukat 1714. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. Leicht gewellt. (canton of Zürich, quarter ducat of 1714. Rare in this condition, About uncirculated, Slightly wavy flan.)"
This type was struck 1708-09, 1712-16. Similar quarter ducats were struck for the remainder of the century.
