Sincona sale 91, lot 3577

This specimen was lot 3577 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$363 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Zug, Halbtaler 1621, Zug. Gutes sehr schön. Herrliche Patina. (Switzerland, canton of Zug, half thaler of 1621, Zug mint. Good very fine, Most attractively toned.)"

This type was struck 1620-22 and also comes in klippe format (KM 31).
