Sincona sale 47, lot 3045

This specimen was lot 3045 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$300 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SWITZERLAND, Zug, Stadt und Kanton, Halbtaler 1620. Selten. Sehr schön. (canton of Zug, half thaler of 1620, Rare, Very fine.)"

This type, struck 1620-22, accompanied a thaler (Dav-4631).
