The Sulayhids were a group that for a time, like the Najjahids, controlled southwestern Yemen including Zabid.
The specimen shown was lot 268 in Steve Album sale 16 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2013), where it sold for US$377.60. The catalog description reads[1]:
"SULAYHID: al-Mukarram Ahmad b. 'Ali, 1081-1091, AV dinar, 'Adan, AH475, nice VF."
