Westfriesland 1674 ducat Fr-294
This specimen was lot 1141 in Jean Elsen sale 126 (Brussels, September 2015), where it sold for €380 (about US$507 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NEDERLAND, WEST-FRIESLAND, AV dukaat met de ridder, 1674. Vz/ Staande ridder n.r. met zwaard en pijlenbundel. Kz/ Tekst in versierd vierkant. Zeer Fraai à Prachtig. (Netherlands, province of Westfriesland, gold ducat or rider, 1674. Obverse: standing knight with sowrd and bunlde of arrows; reverse: five line inscription in cartouche. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
