This specimen was lot 4800 in Sincona sale 9 (Zürich, October 2012), where it sold for 650 CHF (about US$822 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"NIEDERLANDE Westfriesland Dukat 1652. Zainende. Vorzüglich. (Westfriesland, ducat of 1652, clipped, extremely fine.)"
Friedberg lists this type for 1607-83.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
