This specimen was lot 40787 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $1,586. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Riksdaler, 1646. PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder. Christina (1632-54)." This type was struck 1641-53 with numerous varieties; some have Roman numeral dates (as here) and later issues have Arabic numeral dates. This is a common date for the type.
