Sweden 1647-DK mark

from the Stack's Bowers February 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 11291

This specimen was lot 11291 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €720 (about US$751). The catalog description^[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Mark, 1647-DK. Stockholm & Sala Mint. Kristina. NGC VF Details--Obverse Scratched. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1641 and 1647-48 in numerous varieties along with a two mark and a four mark. Six mark made a riksdaler.
