This specimen was lot 11289 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/4 Öre, 1645. Nyköping & Säter Mint. Kristina. NGC EF-40 Brown. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck in large numbers 1644-45 and 1653-54 at Säter and Nyköping, those mints being devoted to processing Swedish copper. Numista states this date was struck at Avesta.
Recorded mintage: 940,000 with and without lozenges.
