This specimen was lot 3312 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €525 (about US$678 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SOLOTHURN Stadt. 1/2 Duplone 1787. 33.12 g. GOLD. Winz. Randfehler, sehr schön. (canton of Solothurn, half duplone of 1787. Rim bumps, very fine.)"
This type is listed for 1787 only and is expensive. It has the same amount of gold as a ducat. Quarter, one and two duplone exist.

Specification: 3.82 g, 0.900 fine gold, .110 troy oz AGW.
