This specimen was lot 22426 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $211.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Schwarzburg-Sondershausen. 2/3 Taler, 1676-HM. Christian Wilhelm I (1666-1721). PCGS EF-45 Secure Holder. Nice strike with attractive grey tone." For some reason the issue of gulden (2/3 thaler) exploded in popularity in the 1670's and dozens of types appeared from many states.
