This specimen was lot 12244 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $3,290. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. Ducat, 1763-FWoF. NGC AU-58. Friedrich August II (1733-63). RARE, especially this nice." This scarce type is listed for 1735-63. Friedrich Christian also issued a ducat in 1763 (Fr-2869) which is even rarer.
