This specimen was lot 74591 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. 1/3 Taler (1/2 Gulden), 1691. Dresden Mint. Johann Georg III. PCGS AU-55. Commemorating the death of the Elector. Rather deeply toned around the devices, with alluring contrast and not much in the way of actual wear." also KM 578 (Johann Georg III)
