This specimen was lot 1198 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,350 (about US$1,820 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Johann Georg II. 1656-1680. Breiter doppelter Reichstaler 1661, Dresden, auf die Grundsteinlegung der Kapelle in der Moritzburg. Henkelspur, sehr schön. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, John George II, 1656-80, double thaler of 1661, Dresden mint, on the founding of the chapel at Moritzburg. Mount mark, very fine.)"
