This specimen was lot 75329 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Kopeks, 1915-BC. Petrograd (St. Petersburg) Mint. Nicholas II. NGC MS-67. Argent and brilliantly white, this fiery Superb Gem flashes with a luster unbroken that matches the limitless eye appeal." This type was struck 1915-17 and was the final issue of this denomination before the collapse of the tsarist regime. Made in large quantities and extensively hoarded, it is common today.
