This specimen was lot 47590 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Kopek, 1915. St. Petersburg (Petrograd) Mint. Nicholas II. PCGS MS-65 Red." This type was struck 1915-17 during World War One as the Czarist regime started to come apart. It varied from the previous kopek (KM Y9.2) by the absence of a mintmark.

Specification: 3.3 g, copper, 21.6 mm diameter.
