This specimen was lot 39611 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2025), where it sold for $840. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1867-CNB HI. St. Petersburg Mint. Alexander II. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details." This type was struck 1859-85 in respectable quantities but not so many as the prior type (Dav-283). Assayer HI (Nikolay Iossa) served 1866-77.

Specification: 20.73 g, 0.868 fine silver, 35.5 mm diameter.
