This specimen was lot 2140 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "1 Kopeck 1828 EM-ИK. Authenticated and graded by NGC MS 64 BN (# 4501409-047). Meticulous details, sparkling lustre. Very choice brilliant uncirculated." This type was struck in large quantities 1811-15, 1818-30 at Ekaterinburg. The Kolyvan and St. Petersburg mints also contributed.
