This specimen was lot 24057 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $2,115. The catalog description[1] noted, "Prussia. Friedrich Wilhelm III Taler 1805-A, MS65 NGC, a choice fully lustrous example with strong eye appeal, the surfaces are virtually flawless and attractively toned." This type was issued 1797-1809 at Berlin (shown here), Breslau and Glatz and is common in worn condition. This is a better date.
