Prussia 1793-A pfennig
This specimen was lot 3914 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €40 (about US$56 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm II. 1786-1797. Ku.-Pfennig 1793, A, Berlin. Prägung für die mittleren Provinzen. Sehr schön. Erworben am 18.6.1975. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William II, 1786-97, copper pfennig of 1793, Berlin mint, struck for the middle provinces. Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1787-97 and is common. Altho the coin says "SCHEIDEMUNZE", i.e., fiat coin, the SCWC states that it has a trace of silver.
