This specimen was lot 32899 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $300. The catalog description[1] noted, "Prussia. Friedrich Wilhelm II Taler 1791-A AU Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, Berlin mint. A delightful example of the type with minimal hairlines. A most collectible 18th century Taler." This type was struck 1791-97 at Berlin (shown here), Breslau and Königsberg.
