This specimen was lot 70154 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2020), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. Taler, 1791-B. Breslau Mint. Friedrich Wilhelm II. PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. Exhibiting hardly any handling or wear, this attractively toned piece presents a charming russet nature atop its otherwise steel gray surfaces." This type was struck 1791-97 at Berlin, Breslau (shown here) and Königsberg.
