"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm II. 1786-1797. Reichstaler preuß. 1790, B, Breslau. Sehr schön. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, Frederick William II, 1786-97, thaler of 1790, Breslau mint. Very fine.)"
This type was struck at Berlin, Breslau (shown here) and Königsberg 1788-91. These coins saw hard use and are frequently found heavily worn. As they were only 0.750 fine, they were spent and the issues of other principalities hoarded.
Recorded mintage: 474,814.
Specification: 22.27 g, 0.750 fine silver, this specimen 21.95 g.
