Prussia 1782-B 3 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 2718 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $84. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND: EAST PRUSSIA: Frederick II (the Great), 1740-1786, BI 3 kreuzer, 1782-B, minted at Wroclaw Poland, popular coin with lots of luster and a flan flaw from the mint on the eagle." This type was struck at Breslau and Berlin 1771-86 in large numbers. Numista comments, "The 3 Kreuzer coins minted in Breslau for the province of Silesia are identical and equivalent to the 3 Gröscher minted in Berlin. The coins with the different B (Breslau) are Kreuzer and those with the different A (Berlin) or E (Königsberg) are Gröscher."
