This specimen was lot 1204 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "PRUSSIA: Friedrich II, 1740-1786, AR 1/24 thaler, 1782-A, struck in Berlin, PCGS graded MS65, ex Don Erickson Collection." This type was struck 1764-69 and 1781-86 at three mints and is very common. It equalled one groschen. It accompanied a 1/48 thaler (KM 327), a 1/12 thaler (KM 298, last struck 1771) and a 1/6 thaler (KM 299, last struck 1780).

Recorded mintage: 6,041,462.

Specification: 2.07 g, .222 fine silver, 19 mm diameter.
