This specimen was lot 3688 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"PORTUGAL, Jose I. 1750-1777 Peca 1750. Lissabon. Fr-101. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of Portugal, Joseph I, 1750-77, peça of 1750, Lisbon mint. Rare, About extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1750-76 but is seldom seen compared to similar coins that were struck in Brazil.
