Sincona sale 99, lot 197

This specimen was lot 197 in Sincona Auction 99 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Nicholas I. 1825-1855, 1 Grosz 1839, Warsaw Mint, MW. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. (empire of Russia, Nicholas I, 1825-55, Rare in this condition. NGC MS63 BN.)"

This type was struck 1835-41. Russian coinage for Poland ended in 1850.
