This type was minted during the reign of Innocent XIII. It is not dated but Innocent only reigned three years, so it could only have been issued 1721-24. It is quite scarce. The giulio was ten baiocchi, while the piastra, the Italian equivalent of the German thaler, was 105 baiocchi (3½ testone).
