Papal States c1721 quattrino rev Tom F.jpg

This type was struck in 1721 for Innocent XIII (1721-24). The reverse features the apostle Paul. Numerous quattrini are listed in the SCWC for the 1720's but none are pictured, making identification difficult. The SCWC incorrectly attributes this issue to Clement XI.

Recorded mintage: unknown but somewhat scarce.

Specification: 2.1 g, copper.

Catalog reference: KM-102, Ber-2546.
