This mezzo baiocco was struck during the reign of Innocent XIII (1721-24). It is undated. The quattrino was one fifth of a baiocco. Numerous varieties were issued in the 1720's, none photographed in the SCWC. This one features St. Peter ("S. PETRUS AP") on the reverse.
