This specimen was lot 11050 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €690 (about US$719). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1660. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC EF Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922). Ex: Alfred Benzon Collection (Copenhagen-1885/1888) Lot # 1180." This type was struck 1649-62 and is scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
