This specimen was lot 11053 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,251). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. Skilling, 1660. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC MS-61. Exceptional[ly] high grade for type - as [are] so many of Bruun's coins. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1649-69 in many varieties and is scarce in nice condition. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.

Recorded mintage: 376,000.

Specification: 0.92 g, 0.156 fine silver, this specimen 0.81 g.
