This specimen was lot 11054 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €384 (about US$400). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1661. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC VF-35. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922)." This type was struck 1649-62 and is scarce. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
