This specimen was lot 11058 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €840 (about US$876). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1662. Christiania mint. Frederik III. NGC Unc Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1649-62 in many varieties. One specie daler was six mark or 96 skilling.
