This specimen was lot 11014 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1645. Christiania mint. Christian IV. NGC VF-35. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1644-47 and is scarce. It was worth one third of a specie daler. The motto, "·IUSTUS· יהוה ·IUDEX·", translates as "God is a righteous judge".
