This specimen was lot 11016 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 2 Mark, 1646. Christiania mint. Christian IV. NGC VF Details--Obverse Scratched. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale-1922)." This type was struck 1644-47 and is scarce. It was worth one third of a specie daler. The motto, "·IUSTUS· יהוה ·IUDEX·", translates as "God is a righteous judge".

Specification: 11.14 g, 0.593 fine silver, 33.6 mm diameter, this specimen 10.70 g.
