This specimen was lot 33532 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Birendra Bir Bikram gold Proof 1 Ounce Asarfi VS 2043 (1986) PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC. A gorgeous coin from the Wildlife Protection series featuring Ganges River Dolphins." A similar 1 oz gold NCLT was issued in 1988 to feature the snow leopard.
