Nepal VS1979 2 mohar

from the Stack's Bowers 2019 ANA sale, lot 23317

This specimen was lot 23317 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "NEPAL. 2 Mohar, VS 1979 (1922). PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. A blast white, fully lustrous Gem Uncirculated example. Ideal as a type representative." While the single mohar was struck in silver and gold, the double mohar was struck only in silver. This type was struck 1911-32 and catalogs for very little.
