This specimen was lot 31288 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $1,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "Charles & Johanna 'Late Series' Real ND (1542-57) M-S XF45 NGC, Mexico City mint. Boldly struck, albeit a bit off-center on the pillar side, with excellent metal quality throughout. Overall, a very pleasing representative from this very elusive and obviously short-lived 'S' assayer. Selections from the Isaac Rudman Numismatic Cabinet."
