This specimen was lot 24179 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $780. The catalog description^[1] noted, "ISRAEL. 10 New Sheqalim, 1996. NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Miriam and the women. From a mintage of only 855 pieces. Brilliant and attractive." Massive influx of aid from the United States fueled inflation and coinage reforms in 1960, 1980 and 1985.
